Mission Statement
Alonna Johnson is a broadcast journalist, videographer and podcaster currently based in Cincinnati, Ohio.

Alonna is a student journalist at the University of Cincinnati studying Philosophy and Media Production with a concentration in Broadcast Journalism.
Born in Cincinnati, Alonna attended Walnut Hills High School where she was the Editor for Sports page and then the Managing Editor for the student newspaper The Chatterbox.
During her collegiate studies at UC, she was a contributor to the student paper, The News Record, as well as the student media outlet, Bearcast Media. In both outlets, she was able to grow in the writer, videographer, editor and podcaster she is today.
Alonna is a self described "people person" which she attributes to the reason why she wanted to be a journalist.
"My job is to go to places I've never been, meet people I would otherwise never get the chance meet, and come back to tell their stories - to me, that is what makes this work so fascinating."
As a multimedia journalist, Alonna pitches, shoots, writes and edits her stories when she is not working alongside her team.
